Hi all,
Quick note I have not one, not two but THREE mini-marathons of older stuff starting this coming week, having finished the work on all of them roughly the same time. As promised last year this will mean they’ll run at regular days instead of sometimes months apart, and current and/or stand-alone reviews will still appear when they’re done (there are a few modern shows and audios on the docket, I’ve just not had the time to finish watching/listening to them yet!) Click more see what they are (as otherwise this will push the front page down too much)
The first one starting tomorrow is a look at so far eight RPG games I’ve played over the last year or so, most for the first time and some playing a series for the first time, all after “getting my RPG grove back” a while ago. I say “so far” because there is at least one I THINK I’m nearing the end of its second third at the moment so in two months time I might be able to stick it on the end as a bonus ninth one!
The other two are more straight forward and match the last time I did this as it’s a Doctor Who and an anime one, this time a run of Fourth Doctor TV and Audio stories and Mobile Fighter G Gundam, continuing the old tradition of following a Shonen Anime with a Gundam show, like I used to do… even in the Shonen show coverage was months ago at this point… *ahem*.
So the schedule will look like this for at least the next five weeks (as that’s how many G Gundam reviews there are):
Tuesdays and Saturdays: Fourth Doctor review
Thursdays: G Gundam review
Sundays: RPG review.
So as promised this new set up means we’ll go from a review draught to a deluge, but for me I feel happier because it means I can continue to review at my own pace with no schedule pressure while also making sure series go up near each other so they don’t get lost months apart. Hope you enjoy, it’s time for me to plan the next bunch, whenever they’ll be finished and whatever they’ll be! (well, apart from a Fifth Doctor marathon, no doubt…)
