Star Wars: The High Republic – Seeds of Starlight & Haunted Starlight Review

So these two audiobooks appeared as free Audible downloads over the past few months, and while I don’t normally bother with the really young aimed material the fact they didn’t cost anything, were written by High Republic classic George Mann and the knowledge that they deal with the Drengir plot thread while the rest of the Phase III High Republic stories are obviously focused on other things I decided to give them a go. Star Wars – The High Republic: The Battle of Jedha Review

The Battle of Jedha is a full length audio drama from Audible, and while normally that means still plenty of prose bookends this time it’s more akin to the Big Finish style audio dramas I’m accustomed to and I really enjoyed it! It’s a long one, so I’ve decided to split it up into its three original collected volume titles to take a look… so let’s do just that!

Alien III (Audio Drama) Review

Alien III

It’s funny that I ended up getting a couple more free Audible downloads and so finally decided to give this a go, an audio drama performance of a “lost” script for an original Alien III film by William Gibson, at the same time I’m covering the Doctor Who lost stories range. I’m one of those people who doesn’t particularly like Alien3, as mentioned in my review of the film from a few years ago, so when I heard of this project I was interested to hear “what could’ve been”. Turns out Alien III is as much of a mish-mash mess as Alien3, just in a different way…
