The battle on Hoth! Cloud City! Luke vs. Vader (with THAT revelation)! More Han and Leia chemistry! What else can you say about Empire that hasn’t already been said? Turns out, not much… but I’ll give it a go anyway.

How exactly do you review the first Star Wars movie? Everyone has seen it, or at least knows most of the plot. Still, I can’t NOT review it, even if its hard to look at the film from an outside perspective. Let’s give it a go!

It’s the end of the beginning, as the prequel trilogy ends and ties itself (perhaps too neatly…) into the original film. How does the film stack up in the grand scheme of things? Does it do the Obi-wan/Anakin battle justice??

On to the second (or fifth, I guess) film, and now with a hell of a lot less Jar Jar Binks and politics! Hooray!

I wrote these Star Wars reviews in the lead up to Episode VII back in December last year, but never got around to posting them anywhere… Until now! Anyway, the task of marathoning the first six meant having to watch this… What else is there left to say about The Phantom Menace? Well…
