Samurai 8 Vol 1

First off, my review of Samurai 8’s first manga volume is available HERE. I … didn’t like it. At all. Bollocks.

ALSO: With all that’s going on in the world, I thought I’d just confirm that as of this moment my life is proceeding as usual, though given I work in a Library right in the centre of town, I wouldn’t be surprised if it closed in a few days. The only really knock on effect of the Corona Virus outbreak is that I’m delaying the last four Bond Film reviews until October, assuming No Time To Die sticks to November 2020 as a release date, all because, damn it, the Bond film marathon was supposed to lead up to the new film, so… third time’s the charm?!

Gundam Origin V and VI

I can just about write a Bond film and a TV Doctor Who episode review a week at the moment, but I did manage to review MSG Origin V and VI for Anime UK News, which can be found HERE. I’m glad I did, because that’s another part of the UC Gundam series covered, as to when I’ll get around to Victory, I have no idea any more, but hopefully soon! (Who invented having to work for a living? Seriously…)

One Piece – Marineford Arc (Episodes 457 – 491) Review

Here we finally are: The Marineford Arc. When I started getting into One Piece proper I heard about this then-publishing story arc, a showdown with the most teased-as-powerful characters finally unleashing a fraction of their power in a big war with Luffy’s brother Ace’s life in the centre of it, and thought it sounded great. I obviously heard of the ending long ago, which takes some of the edge off of it, but I still enjoyed my long-awaited watch through of the story arc. So let’s take an overall look at it, shall we?

Boruto – Part 2 Anime UK News Review

Funny how these things happen. The Christmas Fair at the library I work at meant I was extra busy last week, and the few bits of spare time I had to write was to write two Anime UK News Reviews that wouldn’t come out until the following week! (a.k.a now!)

It’s time to continue forward in the Universal Century, though we’re now so far away from Amuro and co. that it doesn’t really matter, beyond similar designs and faction names.
