Let’s all breathe a sigh of relief as we finally make it to the end of Victory Gundam. So, before those final end credits rolled, how was it? Was it full of great action, interesting character development and no pointless female deaths? Well… one of the three, anyway…
Victory Gundam’s third batch of episodes features the appearance of Uso’s mother (given she’s a female character, you know how that turns out!) and loads and loads of wheels. Mobile suits in wheels, large capital ships with wheels, the huge ship class called the “Adrastia” is also on wheels… it’s very odd, especially the first few episodes in space! Is it good though? Well… *sigh*… No. Not really. Let’s take a look anyway…
Well, after a “rough start” (by which I mean an awful start) Victory Gundam’s next batch of episodes is an improvement at least. Maybe not a massive one, but the move to space and less pointless female pilot deaths (less, not none…) means this was… tolerable. More information? Why not?! See below!

It’s funny how I’ve reviewed a CG net series, a crossover game and now a manga, but I’ve yet to actually review a KOF game… Well, that’ll change when I get round to the KOF movie in the Game to Film marathon, I guess!
Oh boy… Well, I was warned, even by the creator of the show himself (literally Tomino told people not to buy the DVDs in an insert on the DVD release…) but now I’ve finally started to watch Victory Gundam and it’s not good! Who would’ve thought that a show with a bad reputation even among diehards of the meta-series would actually not be very good? Well, at least the first quarter-ish, we’ll see about the rest, obviously. Want to know more? Read on!

ALSO: With all that’s going on in the world, I thought I’d just confirm that as of this moment my life is proceeding as usual, though given I work in a Library right in the centre of town, I wouldn’t be surprised if it closed in a few days. The only really knock on effect of the Corona Virus outbreak is that I’m delaying the last four Bond Film reviews until October, assuming No Time To Die sticks to November 2020 as a release date, all because, damn it, the Bond film marathon was supposed to lead up to the new film, so… third time’s the charm?!

So HERE IT IS, my last Dragon Ball-related anime review for Anime UK News… well, until the inevitable next project, anyway… Now I just wish I had more time to review some older Dragon Ball stuff for this blog…
I can just about write a Bond film and a TV Doctor Who episode review a week at the moment, but I did manage to review MSG Origin V and VI for Anime UK News, which can be found HERE. I’m glad I did, because that’s another part of the UC Gundam series covered, as to when I’ll get around to Victory, I have no idea any more, but hopefully soon! (Who invented having to work for a living? Seriously…)
