Supergirl – Season 3 Episodes 10 – 18 Review

Supergirl S3 P2

Due to the odd scheduling of the Arrowverse this time round, Supergirl’s second third goes up for review just a week or so before Flash and Arrow get their finales put up! Carrying on from before Christmas, Supergirl and her team have to go up against Reign, the “worldkiller”, and then as it turns out, she’s not alone… Let’s have a look!

Arrow – Season 6 Episodes 10 – 18 Review

Arrow S6 P2

Arrow Season 6 starts to fall into old patterns again, as Oliver’s life is once again turned upside down and he slowly “realises” he can only do this by himself rather than rely on allies… *sigh*… Still, there were some highlights, this isn’t Season 3 / 4 territory or anything, but I wish the writers would come up with something else to do to their lead other than constantly re-realising the positive effect of friendship…

Legends of Tomorrow – Season 3 Overall Review

LoT Season 3

Season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow manages to continue to be a legitimately funny adventure with a varied mix of heroes, though it doesn’t quite live up to Season 2, it’s certainly still far better than what it started out as. Some Legends leave, some new ones join, and generally everything is kept fresh and fun, with the odd bits of drama thrown in to the mix. It’s not perfect, but it was still always fun to watch every week. So without any more beating around the bush, let’s take an overall look at the season!

The Flash – Season 4 Episodes 10 – 18 Review

Flash S4 P2

Season 4 of the Flash continues to feel fresh and interesting as Barry and co. have to fight The Thinker, a villain that outsmarts them at every turn, rather than being yet another speedster. It’s worked really well, as has the funny addition of Elongated Man to “Team Flash”. While not everything worked perfectly, these middle 9 episodes do a good job of moving the plot towards its end point. So let’s have a closer look then!

Legends of Tomorrow – Season 3 Episodes 10 – 15 Review

LoT S3 P2

Legends of Tomorrow continues to be a source of great entertainment in the Arrowverse, able to be serious when needed but never loses its sense of fun and adventure. In this mid-way chunk of episodes we get a couple of appearances of John Constantine, once again played by Matt Ryan, as well as Kid Flash joining the team. Do these new additions work? Well, let’s see shall we!

Arrow – Season 6 Episodes 1 – 9 Review

Arrow S6 P1

Arrow Season 6 picks up … a few months after the big cliffhanger ending, and wastes no time confirming that very little happened. Still, it does at least settle back into the Season 5 groove of group of group of vigilantes vs. large groups of thugs, which worked in refreshing the show last year, and sets up the rest of the season really well, so I can forgive the non-follow up… A bit. Let’s take a look!

Legends of Tomorrow – Season 3 Episodes 1 – 9 Review

LoT S3 P1

After a lacklustre first season, Legends of Tomorrow managed to bounce back in a big way with Season number 2, and it looks like they’re continuing that momentum based on the first nine episodes of this season! The show once again captures a sense of fun and nails the comedy while also dipping into good sci-fi concepts and even the odd bit of drama as well. Let’s take a look!

The Flash – Season 4 Episodes 1 – 9 Review

Flash S4 P1

The Flash Season 4’s first third (or the part of the season before Christmas, yes I’m running a bit behind… stupid Regeneration Marathon!) sets an interesting new tone for the series, replacing it’s mysterious speedster enemy with a new type of foe who has his backstory revealed in Episode 7! So let’s take a look at this season’s story so far…

Supergirl – Season 3 Episodes 1 – 9 Review

Supergirl S3 P1

Supergirl Season 3 is off to a rocky start, oddly making the same mistakes the Flash Season 3 writers made by making everyone be all downbeat, snappy and generally having a bad time (although at least funny side characters still retain their sense of humour, so it’s not quite THAT bad) That being said, it has set up a good season villain in Reign and set the groundwork for a few new characters to make their debut next year. So let’s have a look at the first eight episodes (that doesn’t include the crossover episode 8 that’s covered else where…) of Supergirl Season 3!
