The Flash’s sixth season is … extremely muddled. The first half is all hype for Crisis on Infinite Earths, but based on something we all knew wouldn’t happen. The second half then starts off strong but then pulls out the “our hero loses his powers!” cliché and stretches it out across multiple episodes. Throw in the non-ending that sadly happened due to a certain pandemic and it’s not a best season ever constructed… Let’s take a look anyway!

Arrow – Season 8 Overall Review
So after eight-ish years, Arrow has come to an end, and while the many shows that span off from it are pressing forward, it’s a shame to see it go… is how I felt at the end of last season, which felt like the actual final season. Season 8? It was mostly build up for the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, a backdoor pilot, and then an actual final episode that wasn’t any better than the finale of Season 7, with the exception of having more cameos. Still! Let’s have a final look at an Arrow season (unless I go back and re-watch earlier seasons a fair few years down the line…)
Crisis on Infinite Earths Review
So after a couple of months of delay the big Arrowverse crossover has finally aired here in the UK (well, apart from the Batwoman episode, which I had to, erm… “source” from elsewhere…) and after all that build up it was … Good. Had a few great moments, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype surrounding it. Let’s take a closer look…
Legends of Tomorrow – Season 4 Overall Review
The Fourth Season of Legends of Tomorrow had some genuinely funny and dramatic bits, and benefitted greatly from the inclusion of John Constantine, but it did suffer from some clunker episodes and Gary the funny nerd character became far too over-exposed by the end. More good than bad overall? Well, read on and find out!
Legends of Tomorrow – Season 4 Episodes 9 – 16 Review
The second half of Legends of Tomorrow’s fourth season was much like its first: mostly fun and light-hearted, with a bit of drama here and there, but a lot of the jokes failed to land with me, unlike the previous seasons. Still, more good than bad, so let’s take a look at it!
Arrow – Season 7 Overall Review
Arrow’s penultimate season was a mixed bag, but in my opinion definitely swung more towards good in the end. It actually felt like it wrapped the whole show up neatly, leading very little for it to do in its shortened final season at the end of the year… so let’s take a look then, shall we?
Arrow – Season 7 Episodes 10 – 22 Review
Arrow’s seventh season comes a wobbly end, but ultimately a good end. In fact the finale feels very much like an overall series finale, which given Season 8 is not only the last season, but only 10 episodes, it probably for all intents and purposes is the big ending. So let’s have a look at the build up to this grand finale, and see how much of it actually worked…
The Flash – Season 5 Overall Review
The Flash is back for a fifth season, but sadly one that was far more scattered and less focused than Season 4, which I really enjoyed (but not many others did, seemingly). There were some highlights, but a lot of… lowlights? (is that a thing?) So let’s take a deeper look at the overall season…
The Flash – Season 5 Episodes 10 – 22 Review
The Flash’s fifth season’s second half (I’m sure there’s a better way of writing that…) has been and gone, and once again it had some good moments, and some bafflingly written moments… Let’s take a look!
Legends of Tomorrow – Season 4 Episodes 1 – 8 Review
Legends of Tomorrow was, in my opinion, the best of the four Arrowverse seasons from last year, being as funny as it was entertaining and occasionally dramatic, and while they definitely leaned in too hard on the humour so far, Season 4 still offers up a fun mix of time travel antics and fun character interactions. Let’s have a closer look!
