Now I normally split Walking Dead seasons into pre-Christmas and post-Christmas, but given the well-publicised (and therefore fair game to talk about in the pre-spoiler section) exit of Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes in Episode 5, and how much of a shift will come from it from Episode 6 onwards, I thought it would make far more sense to split the series here. So with that being said, how was the exit of the series’ main character? Well…
The Tsuranga Conundrum was a step up after last week’s effort, not that it was particularly hard to do that, but it does seem to highlight a quirk of the Thirteenth Doctor’s run so far: a focus on the companions and their relationships at the expense of the villain of the story. Daredevil Season 1 is considered by many, including myself, to be one of the finest examples of comic book TV shows, and indeed TV shows in general. Daredevil Season 2 was half that good, but the second half failed to keep up the momentum. Daredevil Season 3? Castlevania returns for a second season, and finishes off the modified version of Castlevania III with flourish. It’s a slow starter, and there is a lot of “the internal politics of Dracula’s court” going on, but it picks up in a big way. So let’s have a look at these eight episodes, shall we?

Daredevil’s third season comes to a close with a satisfying final four episodes, though with one small misstep in Episode 10. Does this rare mistake is pacing ruin the end of such a great series in any significant way? Read on!
Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse for Matt Murdock / Daredevil, along comes a super-talented corrupt agent wearing his own suit! Typical. Seriously though, these five episodes are pretty much entirely about turning Agent Poindexter into Bullseye (though without that codename…) and it does that brilliantly. Let’s take a closer look!
Rosa is a hard episode to review. As a Doctor Who episode it was alright, the lead villain was bit pants but on the upside Jodie Whittaker felt much more funny and interesting this time round. As an episode made to highlight both how horrible racism is and as a history lesson to show how one lady refusing to give up her seat on a bus lead to such a big change, it was good. I guess it all comes down to what you want out of the episode, but let’s have a look one way or another…
With Daredevil Season 1 still standing as one of my favourite series of TV ever, my hype for Season 3 is sky-high as not only does it bring back S1 villain Wilson Fisk but it finally gives us the MCU version of Bullseye! So, how does it start? Well, quite grimly for our protagonist…
Iron Fist Season 2 is a far, far better season than its first. While not perfect, Season 2 at least has characters you care about, it’s shorter in length, lacks big business boardroom meetings and has lots of well choreographed fight scenes. Roasting Iron Fist Season 1 was one of the first posts to go up on this blog, so it’s nice to see the follow up be far more fun to review. Well… let’s have a look then!
