Here we have it, ignoring all the side-content this is technically the “main event” where everything Time Lord Victorious comes together, and I will at least give it credit in that it does tie everything together well and juggles all three Doctors with ease, making this one of the most Doctor-interactive multi-Doctor stories ever. The Chimes of Midnight is one of those “holier-than-thou” Big Finish releases along with Spare Parts, and it was also among the first I listened to. It’s time to begin the Eighth Doctor Audio Drama strand of Time Lord Victorious with “He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not”. Obviously on the fringes of the core story seen in last week’s book, this is more about The Doctor realising something is very wrong with time and meeting Brian the Ood Assassin for the first time. The rest of the story is fun, but full of bad accents… Does it hurt it overall? Let’s find out!

It’s time to finish the comic stories featured in the Eighth Doctor’s first Graphic Novel compilation and look at two short stories that actually released either side of “Fire and Brimstone”, but I guess for the sake of smoother storytelling were bundled together at the end of the book.
