The Falcon and The Winter Soldier feels like a new Captain America film but stretched out to six hours. In a lot of ways this is good, the two titular characters have more development here than they ever had in their film appearances, but sometimes it was a little bit too slow for its own good. Hands up who remembers Time Lord Victorious? Turn-A Gundam has been called many things, from a masterpiece to boring, from “if Studio Ghibli did a Gundam show” to “That show with the moustache Gundam in it”. In my opinion it’s a little bit of all those things (well, it’s entirely the show with the moustache Gundam in it, to be fair) While no masterpiece it is well written and has some great character moments, while not boring it does have some very slow moments. The second Captain America solo film is full of new and returning characters (though not as many as the third film!) and has an extremely significant plot twist half way through. Throw in plenty of well shot action and fight scenes and you have a genuine hit on your hands. Advertised as “Dalek Universe: The Dalek Protocol”, this story was quite clearly just a regular FDA brought forward and given a special tag because it ends up getting referenced in the Dalek Universe 10th Doctor strand, so I’m just keeping it as its original name. That being said, is it any good? Well… It’s … okay, I guess? It suffers from several of the negative sticking points that a lot of Nicholas Briggs scripts do, made worse by the man voicing so many characters in the play when his voice is already far too recognisable (apart from the Daleks, obviously!) but it’s not all bad… Let’s have a look!

Having loved Persona 5, mostly for the story and characters, I was all-over a Warriors spin-off. Imagine my surprise then when this is far less a Warriors spin-off and more a full blown sequel with more action-based RPG elements rather than turn-based and a lack of some of the slice of life aspects being pretty much the only differences. Now they are big differences, obviously, but it’s still far closer to Persona 5 than it is Dynasty Warriors. So, let’s take a look, shall we?
