The second half of Demon Slayer is far more traditional in that its one story arc, and then some “characters get stronger through training before the next story” episodes. It also has Episode 19, which may go down as one of the best animated and most satisfying moments in recent anime memory, and the next story in question has become the highest grossing anime movie ever, so… Yeah. A new Doctor Who Blu-Ray set has dropped and that means it’s time for a random review from it! Colony in Space was the story that I hadn’t seen in the longest, but was it because it’s crap? No, not really! It has a bad reputation among fandom for being boring, but I don’t know if it’s just my love for the Third Doctor era, but I really enjoy it. Valhalla is the latest in the Assassin’s Creed series and the third in the revived, new engine sub-series. I was really looking forward to it as being a Brit who has looked into his own past I was actually far more familiar with the time period and (obviously) setting of this game’s Viking Invasion era than any other AC game, but sadly the story is stretched far too thin for the game’s own good, and the combat soon became far too easy. Still, there were plenty of highlights too, so… let’s take a deeper look! (and yes, that says PS4, I still haven’t gotten my hands on a PS5…)

I remember when this came out it split opinion, some saying it was great, others saying it was too long winded and boring. I fell more towards the latter back then, so going into this second listen ten odd years later I was hoping to have my old opinion reversed and that maybe I just wasn’t in a mood for a slow burning historical-set adventure when I first listened to it.
