Mega Man 9 was a weird experience for me, given I’ve been playing through the series from MM1 in the last year and a bit, therefore the nostalgia was wasted on me because it felt like the games I played a few months ago, rather than years ago! While I have some issues with just how far they rolled the game system back, not to mention how unfairly difficult it was at times, I still had more fun with this than the previous entry, that’s for sure! Let’s take a closer look, then, shall we?
Rage of the Time Lords was actually released a few months back, but due to all the crazy nonsense in my life, I decided to save it for when I was better able to settle down and listen to it… and here we are! Admittedly, after all that, Rage of the Time Lords is good, but fails to live up to the hype of the previous two War Master sets, which have been among my favourite Who related material each year they were released. That’s not to say this is bad though! Let’s take a closer look…
It’s (a reasonably late look at) the return of One Punch Man, a series parodying Shonen action shows that really took off a few years ago thanks to its sense of humour and frankly jaw-dropping animation. Season 2 continues… the humour, though some of it is getting old, but drops the ball with a new animation studio. Is it still worth a watch though?
Remember in Street Fighter II, when Guile dodged missiles in a stealth boat while talking like Jean-Claude Van Damme? Nor do I… How about when Ryu and Ken were smuggling guns into Asia… No, I don’t seem to remember that in the original Street Fighter either… Welcome to the world of the Street Fighter movie, where barely anything resembles the game it’s based on, but what the hell, let’s make the film anyway! Sounds a lot like the other two films I’ve reviewed in the this series so far, actually… *sigh*, let’s take a look!
Now I know what you’re thinking, “Street Fighter the movie was clearly based on Street Fighter II!”, well I’ll say… it’s barely that, but yes reviewing SFII here would make more sense, but I already reviewed it! So why not review the game simply called “Street Fighter” alongside the film of the same name? Oh wait, I see why now… the first Street Fighter is crap. Oh well, so was the movie! Hooray!?
The sixth series of Diary of River Song’s last two episodes are much like the first, and while its safe to say the magic is wearing off with the “visiting classic stories just before they happen” idea, it’s still a fun listen… For the most part. Let’s take closer look!

Legion’s first two seasons are still among the best things I’ve had the pleasure to watch in general, let alone on TV, so it is a slight shame to say that Season 3 is really good, but didn’t have than standout “wow factor” like its previous two. Still more than worthy of a watch, but a shame given it was the final season… Let’s take a closer look!
The Sixth Series of the Diary of River Song is based around our titular character arriving in the middle of some classic adventures from the first four Doctors, with these first two being set just before the very first episode, and during the Second Doctor’s TV classic “The Web of Fear” respectively. Let’s see if this different format gets off to a good start or not, shall we?
