Blake’s 7’s (that’s an annoying this to write, visually…) audio series continues, and thanks to getting into the series less than a year ago, I haven’t had to wait! Hooray! “Series 3” is actually just a single boxset of four stories, where as the next series with be three boxsets! Well… whatever! Let’s take a look at “The Spoils of War”, which contains a recasting of Dayna, with Yasmin Bannerman taking over the role… which is good news after the awkwardness of Audio Series 2…
My first watch through of the original Battlestar Galactica series continues with the third quarter of episodes. We have a fun and varied batch here, with some good, often safe, stories to tell… apart from War of the Gods, a two-parter that deals with literal races of angel-like beings and the devil… More can be found below!

After nine films playing Wolverine / Logan, Hugh Jackman bows out of the role in this impressive alternate future story. Violent, but also takes time to tell a great story with a really interesting set of characters. If you have to leave a beloved role, this is the best way to do it!

After finishing off the original trilogy of games yesterday, we now finish off Resident Evil Week in general with the reason for the week in the first place: the release of the new CG film Vendetta! Boy… it’s certainly a lot more violent and gory than the two before it, that’s for sure. It also has some extremely entertaining set pieces in it, and is generally a fun “shut your brain off” movie set in the Resi game universe. With that said, let’s take a closer look!
Capping off the original trilogy of Resident Evil games on the PS1 (and continuing Resident Evil Week from yesterday’s look at the second CG film) we have Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. While this still uses the same engine as the previous 2 entries, they have at least finally addressed some of the issues that have been plaguing the games and delivered a nice slice of continuity by setting the game in and around the other two entries in the series. Let’s take a closer look!
Continuing on from yesterday’s look at the second Resident Evil game, we look at the second Resident Evil CG film, Damnation, once again staring Leon S. Kennedy, and this time fellow Resident Evil 2 debutant Ada Wong. Thankfully the four years between the two films were obviously full of either leaps forward in technology, or just better technology becoming cheaper, as this film is a lot prettier to look at and full of a lot less awkward animations! After yesterday’s look at the first CG film that starred Leon and Claire, it’s time to pop back over to the games that started it all and look at Resident Evil 2, the game that gave us the same duo in the first place. While it still suffers from a lot of the same problems that playing the first game in 2017 did, it does have some additions and little tweaks to talk about… so let’s get to it!
Hogan Reviews
