So, I’ve finally done it. I’ve played through all 10 Mega Man g- oh, right… During the course of the marathon Mega Man 11 was released… Still, I set out to play through all 10 original series Mega Man games that were released at the time, and I’ve accomplished that much at least! Thankfully MM10 ends the run on a high note, fixing pretty much everything I disliked about 9 and providing a really fun experience. So let’s take a look!

It’s time for another One Piece review, continuing my first run through of the never-ending series. We have reached the Impel Down Arc, a story arc that is ostensibly a long prologue to the major event coming up next. Does it hold up in its own right, and is it worth watching? Let’s find out!
The first of two main range releases this month, Harry Houdini’s War caps off the unconnected Sixth Doctor and Peri trilogy with a more thoughtful and interesting spy tale (with some sci-fi twists, obviously!) and one or two misdirections, rather appropriately! Let’s take a closer look…
We’re now reaching the episodes that I had previously covered when I was reviewing the show via Streaming for AUKN, so by the time I get round to covering the Universe Survival Arc on this blog it’ll be the third time!

Mortal Kombat has a lot in common with our previous entry (as in being so bad it’s enjoyable), but with one key difference: it actually sticks to its source material pretty accurately! I mean… given MK’s early storyline, I’m not entirely sure if that’s a good thing or not, but it is the first game to movie in this marathon that’s done it, so… hooray I guess! Let’s take a look…
Also known as “The game with the Blood Cheat”, at least in my school playground, Mortal Kombat was quite the noteworthy release, being the first console game that I’m aware of that was so blatantly violent and gory, even if that gore was hidden behind a (very easy to find and spread to friends) cheat code. Ignoring the impact it had, I remember not really enjoying it too much as an actual fighter, preferring the visuals of a Street Fighter II, but still… there’s a scene where someone removes their opponent’s heart! SO COOL. etc. etc. Simpler times, but how does it hold out today, where it’s relatively tame? (much like a certain film adaptation…) let’s find out!
It’s time to resume our look at the Year Three Titan Doctor Who comics proper with the 10th Doctor, a run with the subtitle “Facing Fate” (a subtitle seems to be a theme with the three core Titan Doctors last year…) Volume 1 of this year has the frankly fantastic subtitle of “Breakfast at Tyranny’s” and sees our lead trio being manipulated by powerful forces, as they tend to do…
Mega Man 9 was a weird experience for me, given I’ve been playing through the series from MM1 in the last year and a bit, therefore the nostalgia was wasted on me because it felt like the games I played a few months ago, rather than years ago! While I have some issues with just how far they rolled the game system back, not to mention how unfairly difficult it was at times, I still had more fun with this than the previous entry, that’s for sure! Let’s take a closer look, then, shall we?
